NEW YORK CITY VOTERS: BE ALERT! MAKE CERTAIN YOUR VOTE FOR MAYOR IS COUNTED.
On Tuesday, Election Day, New York City voters must be alert when they vote for Mayor on the Conservative Party Line. Please look at the Sample Ballot (see below for the Sample Ballot) and you will notice that Joe Lhota is on Row C — the Conservative Line — and that is where you should mark the oval. As you study the Sample Ballot, you will see, just under the Conservative Line, is the Socialist Worker candidate for Mayor. Pleae be certain that you skip over his name and go to the Public Advocate Block to cast your vote for Robert Maresca, the Conservative Party candidate.
As you wil note, the design of the Ballot could be confusing to those who strictly vote the Party Line. The Democratic and Republican Lines do not have any additional Party Lines listed below their candiates; however the Conservative Party (and the other non-national parties) has additional candidates below their names.
Do not let you vote be lost due to the major design flaw on the ballot.
