The New York State Conservative Party is preparing for the annual Conservative Party Political Action Conference in Albany in January. We will post more when details are available. The conference is always worthwhile and a good opportunity to hear from prominent speakers and come together with Conservatives from around the State.
The Coalition government being formed with the IDC led by Senator Jeff Klein and the Republicans led by Senator Dean Skelos will surely be of discussion. Will the agreement result in a more or less dysfunctional State government? Will the floodgates be open to legalization of marijuana, assault on religion and family by passage of a”reproductive health act” that fails to recognize religious objections? Who benefits from the coalition? The Respublicans? The Governor? The liberals? All of the above?
