Endorses Wendy Long for US Senate
“…the strong voice we desperately need in Washington today.”
Albany, New York, March 12, 2012 – The Kings County Conservative Party announced today at its annual brunch that they have endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Wendy Long, providing a tremendous boost in her campaign for the Republican and Conservative nominations to face Senator Gillibrand. The endorsement came after a unanimous vote of the County’s Executive Committee.
Chairman Kassar said, “Wendy Long’s steadfast belief in upholding the Constitution, less government and more freedom, makes her the best person to represent our party and end the radical intrusion by the federal government into our everyday lives.”
He added, ““Wendy Long will fight to rein in spending, reduce regulations and unleash private sector job creation providing a clear alternative to the  extreme tax and spend liberal policies advanced by Kirsten Gillibrand in the United States Senate. She will be a strong voice we desperately need in Washington today.”
This endorsement by the Kings County Conservative Party along with Monroe, Wayne, Madison, Warren, Cayuga, Queens and Chemung County, illustrates the growing support Wendy Long is receiving within the Conservative Party.
“I am deeply honored to have the endorsement of Chairman Jerry Kassar and the Kings County Conservatives. I will work hard every day to earn that support and am confident that working together we can restore common sense in Washington,” said Long.
This is Wendy Long’s fifteenth endorsement for U.S Senate.  She has also been endorsed by Onondaga County GOP Chairman Tom Dadey, Wayne County Conservative Party, Monroe County Conservative Chairman Thomas Cook, Madison County Conservative Party, Warren County Conservative Party, Cayuga County Conservative Party, the Essex County Republican Committee, Otsego County Republican Chairwoman Sheila Ross, Richmond County Republican Chairman Robert Scamardella, Saratoga Republican County Chairman John “Jasper” Nolan, Chemung County Conservative Party, Tioga County Republican Chairman Don Leonard, Montgomery County Chairman Joe Emanuele and Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.
