“Dan Has Been a Leader on Critical Issues Like Public Safety, Homeland Security & Restoring America’s Strength on the World Stage”
Brooklyn, NY–January 17th…The Brooklyn Conservative Party voted overwhelmingly to endorse Congressman Dan Donovan for reelection, calling him a leader on critical issues like public safety, homeland security, military and foreign affairs issues.
Congressman Donovan serves as Chairman to the influential House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness, Response and Communications. He successfully fought President Obama’s drastic homeland security cuts that would have harmed New York City’s antiterrorism efforts and against the dangerous Iran Deal.

“The Brooklyn Conservative Party is proud to endorse Dan Donovan as the only choice in this election,” said Brooklyn Conservative Party Chairman Jerry Kassar. “We have been incredibly impressed with Dan’s strong leadership on issues like public safety, the military and his tough approach to international affairs that is restoring America’s strength as a leader on the world stage. He is the definition of a public servant and we look forward to his re-election and many more years as our voice in the House of Representatives.”

“The people of South Brooklyn and Staten Island need a powerful voice in Washington representing their values, and I’m honored that the Brooklyn Conservative Party has recognized my commitment to doing what’s right for our district,” said Congressman Dan Donovan. “It means a lot to have their support in my campaign as we work together toward our shared goal of a strong, safe, and prosperous America for the next generation.”

Mr. Donovan was previously endorsed by the Conservative Party in his 2015 special election to Congress and his 2016 re-election, where he won with 62 % of the vote.
